These terms apply to the use of Wheel of Taste (Smakshjulet) at wheeloftaste.com and smakshjulet.no ("the service"), provided by Sandalen gård. By using the service you accept these terms.
The service
Wheel of Taste is a free tool for tasting cider, on your own or in live tastings with others. You can use it without an account. A profile (e-mail, Google or Facebook sign-in) is optional and lets you keep your tasting history.
Age and responsible use
- The service is about alcoholic beverages. You must be of legal drinking age where you live (18 in Norway) to take part in tastings.
- Drink responsibly. Never drink and drive.
- Hosts are responsible for their own events, including serving alcohol in line with local laws.
Your content
- You own the notes, names and answers you enter. You give us the right to store and show them as needed to run the service, for example to the host and participants of a live tasting.
- Do not enter content that is unlawful, offensive or infringes the rights of others, and do not use other people's names without permission.
- We may remove content or end tastings that break these terms.
Acceptable use
Do not try to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service, other people's tastings or profiles, and do not use automated tools to send large numbers of requests.
Your account
Keep access to your e-mail and sign-in accounts secure. You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your data, as described in the privacy policy.
Availability and liability
The service is provided free of charge and "as is". We aim to keep it running, but we do not guarantee that it is always available or free of errors, and we may change or discontinue features. To the extent permitted by law, Sandalen gård is not liable for indirect losses or lost data arising from use of the service.
Privacy
How we process personal data is described in our privacy policy (Norwegian version).
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
